This post is on longtime California Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein. Boxer is retired, but Feinstein still has two years left on her tertm, and their charts are very different, which is interesting.

Unlike Boxer, Feinstein's chart does not suggest liberalism in either category, which means that she is likely a Democrat in order to get elected in a liberal state.
