It is VERY rare for a Democrat to have right wing cultural indicators overwhelm the left wing indicators, but this describes him well, as he's a practicing Catholic (Catholicism preaches a left wing economic doctrine, but preaches against abortion and gay marriage, and that with patriotism is more than enough to push him to the right culturally) and very patriotic. The defensive Pallas is a strong indicator of someone who's against corruption, as the corruption in Azusa has decreased ever since he became mayor in 2007.
