2015 Gay Marriage Ruling

This is another post on an event rather than a person, as the characteristics of an event are also shown in the Natal chart.

Economics

Leftist- Venus in 12th house, Ruler of Venus Mercury square Neptune and parallel 12th house cusp, Ruler of Venus Sun trine Neptune
Rightist- North Node in 2nd house, Venus square the Nodes

This leans to the left, though this is irrelevant here.

Culture

Leftist- Ruler of Moon Venus in 12th house, Ruler of 4th house Pluto sextile Neptune and contraparallel 12th house cusp, coruler Mars trine Neptune, Moon parallel Neptune
Rightist- Mars square the Nodes, Moon at North Node/4th house cusp midpoint

Extremely culturally liberal chart here, even with the midpoint, which is expected for such a culture change.

Pallas/Ethics

Libertarian- Pallas opposite Mercury, Ruler of Pallas Jupiter semi square Sun
Authoritarian- Jupiter sesquiquadrate South Node

As expected, strongly Libertarian as the sesquiquadrate is no match for the Mercury opposition.

Fiscally and socially to the left, defensive Pallas- Left Libertarian

Giving homosexuals the right to get married like straight people can is a very Libertarian principle. No matter your religious views, it is very authoritarian to prevent people from doing something because your religion says that it's wrong. For the actual chart, Leo represents love, so it's fitting that the chart has Leo rising, and Moon in Libra represents the balancing of marriage, as the homosexuals now have the same rights as the straights. Sun is in conservative Cancer, but in the 11th house, which is the house of Aquarius, a sign that's all about new ideas, and gay marriage fits that perfectly.
